Established in 1953, Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology (NJITT) is a public higher vocational institution under the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education. In 2001, it was officially approved as an independent higher vocational college by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. In 2018, NJITT was selected as a High-level Higher Vocational Institution in Jiangsu Province, recognizing its excellence in vocational education and talent development.
Guided by its motto, "Unity of Knowledge and Action, Virtue and Vision" (知行合一,明德致远), NJITT is committed to cultivating highly skilled professionals with strong technical expertise, practical competence, and professional ethics.
